Aspiring to Excellence: Showcase of work to date

Aspiring to Excellence: Showcase of work to date

Since joining the Aspiring to Excellence programme in 2019 and 2021, the first two rounds of teams have been working hard on their projects, which are all tailored towards improving diagnosis, treatment and care for patients with axial SpA. To celebrate their work to date, each team was asked to produce a poster showcasing their progress so far. You can view each poster here,

ACT ON AXIAL SpA:

A Gold Standard time to diagnosis

The current time to diagnosis of axial SpA in the UK averages approximately 8.5 years from symptom onset. This delay is unacceptable and has serious consequences for the patient. Our act on axial SpA campaign sets out a roadmap for reducing the time from symptom onset to diagnosis to just one year.
