Dr Das is a Consultant Rheumatologist working for Rochdale Infirmary, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust who has been awarded Silver for her work in driving down the delay to diagnosis through education, data and developing pathways.

• She has delivered teaching to primary care colleagues including GPs, GP trainees, First Contact Practitioners, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, advanced practitioners and medical students.
• She has established links with her gastroenterology colleagues, carried out training sessions and put up NASS collateral on the Symptom Checker in the department. These sessions have increased clinician’s confidence in identifying and referring appropriate axial SpA patients in Primary Care.
• She has been a member of the working group to develop the NASS time to diagnosis audit, a key role in improving axial SpA data.
