Sam Bhide

Sam is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) and First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) working for Kingston NHS Foundation Trust in the East Elmbridge primary care network (PCN), who received a silver award for her work in improving diagnostic delay, as a Champion in Primary Care through delivering education, developing local pathways, promoting NASS and national presentations.

  • She has championed triage and assessment tools in her region including the PRIMIS pop up tool, utilisation of the GIRFT axial SpA pathway and use of the SPADE tool in referrals to rheumatology.
  • She has delivered a number of educational presentations across Kingston, in the NASS peer to peer network and at national conferences on diagnostic delay.
  • She regularly proactively shares the Act on axial SpA campaign messages through education sessions and personal social media.
